Gojal (Wakhi: گوجال), also called upper Hunza, is located inside the some distance north of Pakistan. It borders China on the Khunjerab skip, and Afghanistan on the Chapursan valley. In 2019, Gojal Valley have become the second Sub-department within the Hunza District. It is geographically the most important subdivision of the Gilgit-Baltistan vicinity of Pakistan.
Gojal or higher Hunza consists of some of huge and small valleys sharing borders with relevant Hunza in the South, China within the north-east, and Afghanistan inside the north-west. Aeenabad is the first village of Gojal, upper Hunza. Except for the Shimshal, Misgar, and Chipursan valleys, all of the villages of Gojal, top Hunza may be visible from the Karakoram toll road (KKH), which crosses Gojal, getting into China at the Khunjerab pass. The Gojal area has 20,000 Ismaili residents.
